With more than 30 years experience in HVAC Service and Technology we can provide your
business with timely and accurate Load Calculations which are fast becoming a
requirement based in part through Michigan’s Energy Code       Mechanical Code Rules
(R 408.30915a Scope of article; adoption by reference.) which goes into effect October 21,
2010 and throughout the United States to meet new guidelines that the Department of
Energy, Energy Star Rating for retrofit systems and installation of a new systems in new
construction. As these guidelines become mandatory many Mechanical Contractors may
not have the convenience or funding to have an in house Engineer to perform these tasks.

By utilizing our service, we have two Ferris State University HVAC Specific Engineers
to meet your needs without the overhead of securing additional in house employee
personal and training expense on your part. You pay for only what you need when you need
it.

You supply a set of electronic building plans in a PDF format along with a list of building
materials, fenestration, and door schedules and complete our Design Checklist, or mail us
a hard copy of for-mentioned items which we convert to PDF files and we do the rest
allowing you to concentrate on getting the installation completed in a timely manner for your
customer providing you more time to concentrate on securing other project bids.

We utilize Elitesoft Rhavc Load Modeling software for residential calculations. Rhavc
software’s engine is driven by ACCA Manual J 8 and ASHRAE Standards of Design.
You are provided a complete Load Analysis Report in PDF format for your files to meet the
Department of Energy’s new requirements; however a sample Load Summary Report is
shown here.

We also offer Commercial and Industrial Load Modeling Analysis utilizing Elitesoft Chvac,
Trane Trace 700, or Carrier HAP Modeling software.

Duct Design

Once the Load Modeling Analysis is complete for residential buildings, we create a simple
Duct Design Layout utilizing Microsoft Visio to help facilitate your installation process.

Other Design Specific Services Include

We utilize REM Rate   residential energy analysis, code compliance and rating software to
provide you with H.E.R.S. Energy Star    new construction certification.
